TO AN ONLINE FRIEND
by Patsy Woodward
How is it possible to love someone you've never met?
Is it fate, or is it kismet?
This gal I know is sweet as can be,
Is very knowledgeable and supportive, and we love her, you see?
We met sometime years ago, online, in a group,
And fast became friends, and soon formed our own troop.
What would we do without the support of our friends,
We'll be there for each other, and set our own trends.
I wrote this poem, just to show you how much I care,
I want nothing but friendship from you, I swear.

what you have lost, Smile for what you had"

Although we never met her in person, Jeannie touched our lives as if she
were our most beloved sister and dearest friend.
Jeannie will be remembered by each of us for her kindness and empathy, her
common sense advice, her ability to show how much she cares for everyone
through her writing and most of all her ability to bring a smile into our
lives with her humor and love.

I
found a penny today
Just laying on the ground,
but it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.
Found pennies come from heaven
That's what my Grandpa told me,
He said Angels toss them down
Oh, how I loved that story.
He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
Sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.
So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue,
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.
